Alexandria's art is a reflection of her journey—a harmonious blend of artistic skill and equestrian insight. Now based on her farm in Tyler, TX, she welcomes new client commissions and freelance work.
About the Artist
Alexandria's artistic journey has always been intertwined with her love for horses. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant equestrian culture of North Texas, she discovered a profound connection between art and horsemanship. As a child, she spent countless hours painting and sketching horses, striving to capture their essence and beauty. From watching her grandpa raise cutting horses to her own experiences competing in the hunter/jumper circuit, Alexandria found both inspiration and healing in every minute spent in the barn.
Her early passion for art and horses carried into her adult life, as did her passion to help others experience the therapeutic principles of horsemanship. Motivated to blend her two passions, she recieved BFA in Illustration with a minor in Equestrian Studies from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and became an instructor of therapeutic horsemanship- completing her certifications as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.)
